I bought my le creuset double oven gloves over three and a half years ago. They have been drowned in casserole, rescued the odd flying potatoe and been used to hoik food away from flaming grills (quelle professional cook moi!) They are heavy duty, good quality gloves with a decent stretch between the hands and I am happy to recommend them highly.

....and I have tried ALL sorts of oven gloves but these, from Le Creuset, remain my favourite!
Just the right thickness for the hottest cast iron pot straight off the hob or out of the oven, and a generous 'stretch' between the hands.
These double oven gloves, in RED/CREAM, offer terrific insulation/meet BS 6526 - 1998 and feature a special steam and grease barrier for added protection/Teflon Fabric Protector.
100% cotton canvas and towelling with pockets on BOTH sides of each end.
Complete with hanging hook.
Check out the Le Creuset Iron Handle Glove, Cream, too - a handy little item designed to fit over the handle of the 20 cm omelette pan, or similar........in a variety of plain colours or in a new stripy version, Le Creuset Textiles Handle Glove, RED STRIPE.
