 Doesn't work with 2nd G Ipod Touch?? December 2, 2008

Pretty disappointed with this equipment, sound is OK but the remote is very basic ie foward/backwards, volume up/down, pause/play. You can't select albums which is a real pain.
But the remote will not work with my 2nd Generation Touch. Pressing forward/backward only sends the track into fast forward/backwards instead of simply jumping to the next (or previous track). The only way you can stop this is to press pause??
On my wife's 1st generation touch the remote works fine ie pressing foward jumps to the next track, holding down forward - fast forwards through the track until it is released, where the play resumes at normal speed.
Because of the incompatibility with my ipod touch I am having to return the unit and will try another manufacturer...

this is well worth 40 pound.got it for my ipod nano 4th gen works perfect good sound.

I bought this after spending a long while researching products that were available. After coming to the conclusion that to get a half decent sound you would have to spend some money - so when this came up on sale I got what can only be described, as a bargain! The sound is great it's exceptionally easy to use and looks good to. If I had to say anything bad about it, it doesn't run off batteries as an alternative but this is such a small criticism is really doesn't matter.

Bought this a few days ago after weeks of searching for decent speakers for my IPod and I love it!!! Deciding factor was the reveiws on this page and I'm glad I chose it. The sound quality is superb. Even songs that distort on my headphones when played loud play brilliantly on this. Don't hesitate - buy it!

Well after looking @ this all day and pondering over all the reviews, i took the plunge and ive ordered, it i now cant wait to get it and try it out.
