There are endless debates on the internet on whether you need to spend lots of money on high-quality hdmi cables. The majority seem to agree that it's a waste of money as it's a digital signal that isn't as affected by interference or losses due to poor quality cable. Being an ex-electronics engineer, I go along with this camp, so I bought this to connect my Sony DVD player to my Sony 32" and I cannot fault it at all. Perhaps if you had a 50" 1080p screen and sat 2" from it looking for the slightest errors on the picture, you might be able to tell the difference, but who is that sad? Save your dosh and buy this - does the job perfectly well - what more do you want?

After spending hundreds on getting a decent monitor I wanted a decent cable to attach it to my computer (I know from bitter experience that cables aren't all the same!) and this did the job without breaking the bank and it arrived quickly too

Arrived very promptly, however actual product received wasn't the gold plated version (therefore only four stars) however for such a great price not all that bothered - worked perfectly straight away with no worse signal that any gold plated cables I have tried. Using this to connect my PC through the DVI port to a HDMI switch Belkin Hdmi 2 X 1 Switch * With Remote;Ir Extender and works at 1920 X 1200 like a dream.

I bought this cable because looking after my girlfriends dads house, the bloke is loaded and bought a plasma tv when they first came out. Which means its one of those tellys that advertised itself as hi def but only has a DVI input. Which isnt the most convenient when i just want to play my hdmi 360. So i bought this little gem hooked it up to the telly a little configuring with the 360 settings and this looked great usually the picture on the telly is abysmel we have played 360 on it before with standard component and it made gaming unbearable, still got 2 days of gaming before they come back so i better get back to it.

Arrived super fast, and works perfectly. I'm using it to hook a mac mini to a 32inch Sony Bravia. Perfect picture. What a bargain!!!
