My son was set on these for Xmas to go with his new i-pod, I read the reviews and was fairly put off by some of the comments. However, he was adamant and I purchased them through an Amazon retailer (very fast delivery).
My son is delighted - they look great, feel comfortable and he is particularly pleased with the ajustable ear pieces - he can hang them round his neck and angle the ear pieces upwards to listen to his music.
I haven't noticed any noise leakage when they are over his ears. I can't comment about the quality of sound - does that really matter when you're playing 'Slipnot'?

We are the unfortunate owners of Skullcandy headphones. We call them "Trashcandy" Why? Because they don't work and after careful examination we noticed they are made from cheap plastic. There seems to be a huge amount of marketing hype around these headphones. So if you want to burn up your dollars these Chinese made cheap unreliable plastic headphones are a good way to do it. Check out some other brands and give trashcandy a missSkullcandy G.I. Headphones

Do not listen to people by saying that this product is tacky it is not. The Picture looks good but the real thing is so much better. Also 17.99 may seem a lot of money, but it is absolutley worth it. The sound quality is so much better than all other headphones that if you connect it to your iPod or MP3 half the volume with Skullcandy' is the full volumwe with the original headphones that you get wih your original music player

Very poor headphones. Poor bass response, terrible treble, bad sound reproduction, fuzzy, high sound leakage, far too trendy for their own good ...

the sound quality is excellent, best headphones i own. they are extremely comfortable when you wear them, however you cannot listen to your music loudly otherwise everyone else can hear it!
