This is a v.good value HRM if bought with Amazon,and if you get footpod as well, you can measure speed and distance too. BUT it is not GPS as mistakenly advertised on this page! Better to buy on other pages with amazon deals.

I bought this to keep me motivated for a 10k run later this year. So far I've found it a really good training aid - fascinating to see my heart rate & pace whilst training - although it's taking me a while to figure out all the settings. My advice (like previous reviewer) would be to read & re-read the manual first - my first run with it ended up being 6 hours long because I forgot to save the data & then went out to the shops before I uploaded it...oops! It's a little more tricky than they make out! I couldn't get it to upload data automatically to my laptop (this could be just me of course) However I managed it manually without too much trouble & now it seems fine.
This bundle is by far the best price I found - and I would say, unless you want GPS tracking, that this is the best product for the job.
